What is an IT Audit?

An IT Audit is an analysis and assessment of an organization’s technological, physical and software infrastructure, policies and implementations. Essentially, an audit is performed to survey an organization’s infrastructure in order to provide protection and the ability to make modifications as and if needed.  An IT audit may also give the powers at be the peace of mind knowing that they are not wasting money, their data is secure, and is running at an optimal pace.

Our point of view

Although we normally audit our own systems that we manage or maintain, from our perspective,  it is more of an indication to our clients that we are doing what’s best for them.  At times we may also bring in a 3rd party just for an extra layer of protection.  Fresh eyes sometimes see things what tired eyes miss.
